E-Rate
E-Rate is a federal government program administered by the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) under the direction of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The E-Rate funding program offers discounts for school districts and libraries on telecommunication products and services, including telecom services, Internet access, internal connections, and basic maintenance. USAC estimates one billion dollars a year in funding discounts goes unclaimed, often because of not fully completing the process.
